What is Velor (Velour) ?
Velor is a woven fabric that can show itself in different guises. Velvet, the Dutch translation for the French word Velours, already indicates that it is a luxurious-looking, soft and shiny fabric.

Velor can be made from different materials and is characterized as a woven material with short upright loops. Sometimes these loops are also cut and small hairs are formed.

Can Velor also be combined with traditional hook straps?
Yes, this is certainly applied. The total thickness of the connection then becomes slightly thicker, but still thinner than the traditional Hook and Loop fasteners connection.
In addition, the closing force increases; after all, the parentheses are larger. But the number of openings that can be made also decreases as a result. Larger hooks simply lead to wear more quickly.
